It's the story of Cassie, a middle aged woman who finds herself in the (do we ask?) enviable position of being given the opportunity to travel back in time.
She's made mistakes, but one in particular has haunted her. Cassie has never been able to forgive herself for causing the death of her first love, Scott.

What she finds when she travels back to 1969 is so much more than she bargained for.

Why I wrote the book.
At first it was the challenge. Could I manage to write a whole novel? It seemed like an amazing thing to do. I’d always enjoyed writing, and this was my dream.
A fanciful idea involving time travel struck me. It lingered in my mind for a while and slowly a story started to unfold. It evolved and reshaped itself. I abandoned it many times, but always I was drawn back to it. This book is the culmination of my own journey in writing it.
By first appearances, the novel is nothing more than an entertaining caprice, but it’s also a story of desire, courage and tenacity, and by wrapping up complex issues in a tale of fantasy and personal empowerment I hope that the reader takes away the deeper message.
